I've been doing either 4 or 6 miles a day now...depending on how much time I have. Feel great.

I'm running 4 miles at lunch now, basically running the same route. After going through some knee problems, I made sure to run on the side of the road (dirt/grass) and the pain went away. Once it gets really hot here I will start running at 5am again.


It's taken me 2 1/2 months to get really comfortable again with my running. I concentrate more on running for distance, rather than for time. I probably average 10-minute miles, but feel great after running.

When I went to NY I was running 6 miles a day and weighed 185; I came back from NY at 245 lbs. I'm at 202 now and running 4 miles a day... my goal is to get back to 6 miles a day. I don't really care about the weight, but I think it will level off at about 190, which is a good weight for me.

I've been running at lunch this week. I have a 3-mile and 4-mile route that goes across the dam at West Point Lake. I wish I could run farther, but I only have an hour for lunch and need to drive back, shower etc. I put up a photo of the turnaround point.
